The John A. Peters Jr. Memorial Tarpon Tournament is hosted out of Savannah, Georgia by Release Marine. The JAPTT’s mission is dedicated to bringing together Savannah’s local community, for a family-fun tarpon tournament. Tournament proceeds benefit cancer research, through its charitable partner, St. Joseph’s/Candler Foundations.  

The John A. Peters Jr. Memorial Tarpon Tournament is a catch and release tournament that is in it's 11th year. This annual tournament is a can't miss event in Savannah, GA.

Over the past 8 years the Tournament has charitably donated over $65,000.
